Total Focus on Jesus\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0 –\u00a0<\/strong>This came from Sheila Wardlaw and her group up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada:<\/em><\/p>\n

Last summer, for two months, a few coaches decided to go into Immanuel sessions for nothing other than Intimacy, and ask NO questions.\u00a0 Our agenda was only to meet with Him.\u00a0 We did this to watch how He would have us coach an Immanuel session.<\/p>\n

As we connected with Him, we just watched and waited and followed His lead. Whatever thought or emotion came up was submitted to Him.\u00a0 We just told Him how we felt and then waited.\u00a0As we did this, the things that came up, which were submitted to Him were.\u00a0 Thoughts like, ‘I feel really uncomfortable\u00a0Jesus and think we\u00a0really need to go to memories’; ‘I am dealing with problems right now that I want you to fix’. There were many comments that we could ask questions, and He could answer, but we were going for intimacy. He just wanted us to BE with Him.\u00a0 So we told Him these things and just waited for His response.\u00a0\u00a0He doesn’t always speak but He always communicates. We were open to however He wanted to respond, and also to Him not responding, and His responses often were something we weren’t expecting.\u00a0 From just watching and listening, without the coach’s prompting, He took us to memories, talked to parts, and brought us healing and freedom, and quite often actually dealt with the issues we had on our minds.<\/p>\n

What this taught us was how much, as coaches, we sometimes intervene in a session when Jesus wants us to watch the conversation between Himself and the receiver and really see how simple the process is.\u00a0 We also learned that to focus on Him, even in the trauma of a memory, to truly take Him in while being aware of your surroundings in the memory, changes\u00a0everything.<\/p>\n

Also, we are now putting Him before our ‘issues’, and will connect with Him outside of a session to just take Him in and know peace.\u00a0 It has helped us with our Immanuel lifestyle.<\/p>\n

So, as coaches, we also really focus on Jesus and follow His lead in an Immanuel session.\u00a0 He is ours\u00a0and the receiver’s\u00a0solution.<\/p>\n
